Originally established as Glulam Timber Systems in July 2005, our team built a reputation for high-quality Glulam supply and bespoke timber solutions. Glulam Timber Systems was acquired by David Smith St Ives in December 2010 and Glulam Timber Engineering Ltd was established. 

As we mark 20 years in business, we’re proud that many of the management and staff who helped establish the company in 2005 are still with us today, sharing a wealth of experience in glulam and timber engineering. 

Today we supply 1,500m3 of Whitewood Glulam annually and can also offer Glulam in Douglas Fir, Larch, Oak and other Hardwoods. We can machine Glulam Beams to fit together to create Structural Frames and Feature Trusses either pre-assembled or in a kit form for assembly on-site anywhere in the UK.

Based on the junction of the M4/M5 corridor gives us easy access to all parts of the country and makes it a viable option for customers to collect.

We have the skilled carpenters and equipment to perform complex machining to Glulam Beams purchased from us and supply beams for your project in kit form for easy assembly on-site.
