Glulam roof installation is now underway at one of our latest projects, an Indoor Golf Centre in South London.

We’ve supplied Glulam Beams and Frames for Harmony Timber UK’s Indoor Golf Centre projectat Roehampton Golf Club, comprised of more than 230 individual components.

At the heart of the structure are five 13.4m long, 240 x 400mm support Glulam beams, hand-machined to accommodate concealed hangers.

These connect to 580 linear metres of 80 x 280mm rafters, installed at varying levels to create the curve of the roof.

A great example of Glulam combining structural performance, precision engineering and architectural form.

With its high strength-to-weight ratio, ability to span significant distances and flexibility to create complex forms, Glulam offers architects and engineers greater design freedom while retaining the natural character of timber.
